While not a first of it’s kind event with Oceanlab hosting an acoustic set aboard a hot air balloon alongside Virgin Balloon Flights back in 2009, Magda and Modernity Events kicked off their hot air balloon concept during the Caprices Festival in Switzerland last weekend. Together with 15 guests floating 2,000 feet over the Zürich countryside, Magda, the Polish-born and Detroit-raised DJ, swooned her audience by playing 50 minutes of deep house and techno. The best part is that you can watch and experience the set above the clouds in a 360 degree interactive video setup by MDRNTY+. The Caprices Festival itself had a lineup that dreams were made of too; the hot air balloon ride wasn’t the only move that was struck out of the park. The likes of Guy Gerber, The Martinez Brothers, DJ Tennis, Maceo Plex and more graced the event with their day and night sets.
