Earlier this month, Ellie Gouldingannounced that she would be taking a break from music immediately after her Delirium tour. That doesn’t mean she’s done recording that sultry voice of hers just yet. Confirmation has been established that a new Goulding and Calvin Harris collaboration is in the works. Before this, the two have previously worked on a few tunes by the names of “I Need Your Love” and “Outside,” both combined total around a billion plays on Youtube.
While most of the details have been kept hidden behind an translucent veil, in an interview with the Guardian, Ellie divulged a few details about the new tune such as that there will be another featured singer alongside her that’s male. Not Justin Beiber so don’t ask. As the title of the song was not hinted at either, this is welcomed change as Harris’ last production with Disciples “How Deep Is Your Love” has been the only submission by the celebrity DJ since “Outside.” As Harris is set to perform at Coachella in a few short weeks as the first EDM headliner for the esteemed festival, and with Ellie Goulding showing up on the bill as well, look for them to debut the newly reported single alongside the still nameless male singer.
