What’s an EDMTunes article about Deadmau5‘s Twitter-capades without a target to bare the brunt of it all? The most recent in exciting Twitter news has Afrojack being the butt of Joel’s jokes, once again. Though, it seems as if someone might be a little bit salty that they won’t be able to attend the Gumball 3000 themselves this year (not surprising really, considering the entrance fee for the Rally costs north of $100,000).
Deadmau5 has unintentionally brought up an important topic for consideration with these tweets, however. Two pensioners were hit and killed by a Gumball driver back in 2007 in Macedonia, which has put the rally in the line for lots of criticism over the years. The cars most Rally participants will be driving are high performance vehicles, and given Afrojack’s history with wrecking expensive exotics hours after driving them off the lot, it might be a challenge for the Dutch DJ to complete the 3,000 mile journey all the way from Dublin, Ireland to Bucharest, Romania.

@deadmau5 That’s a bit far for the jingle machine to travel, but we can hook you up with some actual gumballs. What’s your favorite flavor?
