It is true that there are two sides to every story, but according to an immoral Miami judge, this is not always the case. Judge Nushin Sayfie of the Miami-Dade County made a hateful remark in regards to the alleged rape case of a 25-year-old woman who attended Ultra Music Festival Miami this past weekend.
“This is why we shouldn’t let our kids go to Ultra – right here,” she whispered under her breath. Her ignorant statement begs the question of how she even got to become a woman of justice and law. For a judge to blatantly blame a rape victim and a music festival of an animalistic man’s horrid actions are beyond reason. It is never acceptable to play the blame game especially when circumstances are unclear.
Judge Sayfie’s comment truly shows that she lacks the moral capacity to understand that it is neither the victim’s fault nor Ultra’s that the poor woman was attacked by the transit worker. Her words reflect poorly on the justice system, and show that reform must be made if there is going to be any improvement.
