This shouldn’t come as a surprise now, but today it is official. SFX is going private as a result of its bankruptcy proceedings, and its stock was removed by the market today. Watchers-on were a bit alarmed to see SFXE stock finally flat-line at 0 before being removed, but this is all part of the bankruptcy process. While this is certainly not the way many envisioned the company going private, the time has come nonetheless. For those of you who had invested in the stock, you’re technically entitled to some liquidated assets that are leftover but there probably won’t be any leftovers. Better luck next time.
