Goldwash – Malady
Goldwash has dropped a really funky, catchy, soulful original entitled ‘Malady’. A self-given label of ‘existential funk’ is pretty accurate for ‘Malady’ – as Goldwash’s on vocals slyly creep over a combination of xylophones and pleasant synthesizers whirls. The Baltimore native’s music has already caught the eye of BBC Radio 1 – as this track actually was premiered on the historic channel by Jamz Supernova last week.
Some real talent here, which is always pleasant to see. The young producer is a classically and jazz trained pianist, and that seeps into his arrangements very noticeably. Check out the original track below, and also check out Goldwash’s Soundcloud (this is his second single of the year already).
