Celebrating the release of his new EP Ceremonie Des Adieux, Gab Rhome was asked to do a guest mix for Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy radio show last Friday. Before that, he put together an hour’s worth of tunes for his second featured mix on the Anjunadeep edition which included tunes from his new EP and his remix of Sohn’s “Lights”.

“Cashmere” is wildly different than his productions of late. A huge tech house banger with a hook that insnares the listener while the quaint vocal samples layered on top. “The Spice Trade” sees Gab going back to the plush, dreamy and therapeutic sounds we’ve seen in his past productions, with the Mekanism’s remix bringing out the Middle Eastern inspired sounds through a series of drum kit tweaks. The title track “Ceremonie Des Adieux” is a lucious, deep cut that utilizes a beautifully crafted string imitated synth design to woo the audience, transporting them to the dancefloor wherever there are listening.
