Electric Mantis has delivered a melancholic original by the name of ‘Daybreak’. Aptly titled, the track starts slow before breaking into an eclectic array of synthesizer play and vocal cuts. A lithe piano cuts through all of it, giving ‘Daybreak’ a relaxing connector for its three minute duration. Wyatt Pearson has literally traveled the entirety of the U.S west coast, hailing from Anchorage Alaska and currently residing in Southern California (don’t we all).
What’s really interesting about this release is that it is the first on Majestic Casual’s newly minted record label, Majestic Colour. Fitting of the vibe, indeed. Check out Electric Mantis’ original below.
