It’s been a hot minute since we last heard from Cashmere Cat. His most recent SoundCloud upload was an intro edit of Hudson Mohawke’s “Forever 1”, which he posted four longs months ago. In fact, it’s been over two years since he dropped his Wedding Bells EP and ever since then, we’ve been itching for a new collection of Cashmere Cat jams. Well, fans can now sleep a little easier, as the Norwegian producer just confirmed that his debut album is on the way.

It’s no secret that Cashmere Cat has some famous and talented friends, so it will be interesting to see who he collaborates with on this project. The 28 year old has worked with Ariana Grande, Ludacris, Britney Spears and most recently, Kanye West on his new album The Life Of Pablo. There is a good chance that “Lean On” vocalist MØ will be featured on the new LP, as Cashmere Cat recently tweeted a picture of her in the studio.
