Shaky Beats, an inaugural festival taking place at
Centennial Olympic Park in
Atlanta, GA May 20th-22nd, was toting a pretty impressive lineup before the addition of Major Lazer, Chromeo, Zhu, Alunageorge and Years & Years. The original lineup featured big names such as Odesza, Big Gigantic, Carnage, Floatings Points, MØ, and Sango, completing a varied cross section of electronic music that competes with major festivals that have been around the block a few times.
Shaky Beats is an offshoot of the wildly popular Shaky Knees festival, which takes place the weekend before. For the 2015 edition, the event hosted The Strokes, Brand New, Trombone Shorty, Flogging Molly and more.
Being an obvious 180 degree switch from the guitar driven-lineup of its sister event, this will be a good alternative for Atlanta residents looking to lace up their dancing shoes this May. For tickets and more information, head over to the Shaky Beats
website.
