Now fast approaching its impressive 11th year, California’s premier camping, arts, music and yoga festival, The Do Lab‘s Lightning In A Bottle, is returning to its home at San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, California this Memorial Day Weekend for another electric installment of creativity, inspiration and community. The world-class musical gathering just released their highly anticipated lineup for 2016 and it’s arguably the most dynamic lineup they’ve unveiled to date. It features some of the most progressive up-and-coming artists alongside an acclaimed curation of powerhouse acts.
Headliners for this year’s gathering include Australia’s electronic neo-soul singer-songwriter Chet Faker, Canadian producer and savant songstress Grimes, English post-rock electronic artist Four Tet, the return of the amazing Norwegian producer/DJ extraordinaire and remix-master Cashmere Cat, the sultry horn play of Colorado’s Big Gigantic, plus one of LIB’s favorite residents often described as the World’s Funkiest Diplomat, The Polish Ambassador, who will return to his home state for another bound-to-be captivating performance. Along with its top notch headlining acts, LIB also promises to bring a selection of electronic music’s edgiest acts – from the deepest of the underground scene to some of the fiercest producers including Emancipator Ensemble, William Close & The Earth Harp Collective, Mr. Carmack, Minnesota b2b G Jones, electro-circus troupe Lucent Dossier Experience, The Russ Liquid Test, Bleep Bloop, Eprom and many, many more. Along with a stellar musical lineup, Lightning In A Bottle also hosts several of the most intricately-built and aesthetically stunning stages in the world, and arguably some of the most compelling display of large scale art outside of Burning Man. This year’s gathering alone will showcase an incredible roster of global musical acts, artists, and installations, totaling over 300 in number.
