Music festival goliath, HARD, has announced that its highly-anticipated event, HARD Summer, will make a 2016 return this summer. Last year’s edition made headlines after 2 young women died as a result of drug use. This tragedy lead to the formation of an ‘Electronic Music Task Force’ in Los Angeles. For the festival’s sister event, Day of the Dead, HARD increased the age restriction to 21+ and lowered its capacity.
HARD is notorious for hosting carefully curated talent rosters during their events, and although the official lineup for the 2016 edition of the festival has yet to be released, expectations are sky high. Last year, the Southern California event hosted Porter Robinson’s Worlds, Dillon Francis, The Glitch Mob, Jack Ü, ODESZA, Die Antwoord and many, many more at the Fairplex Grounds. HARD Summer will officially take place July 30th and 31st, however tickets and the official lineup have yet to be disclosed. Stay tuned for more information concerning HARD Summer 2016. Until then, bask in the memories of HARD Summer 2015 below, as we look forward to the release of the lineup and the sure-to-be laughable 2016 trailer.
