The Governors Ball Music Festival has become an annual staple at New York City’s Randall’s Island Park. The event has launched its official 2016 lineup campaign with several notable headliners, including Kanye West, M83, and Chet Faker. The multi-genre festival will be held this summer on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Tickets are on sale now. In addition to several A-list rock stars you’ll notice popular EDM acts such as Duke Dumont, Galantis, and Thomas Jack.

Among the artist bill are industry leaders in hip hop, rock, and alternative, but the festival seems to be trending away from the electronic music craze. In the last three years, Governors Ball has hosted artists such as Pretty Lights, Dillon Francis, Skrillex, Disclosure, The Glitch Mob, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, The Bloody Beetroots, deadmau5, and Flume, but the 2016 lineup tastes only a touch of EDM.
