Forbes kicked off the year with the release of the 30 Under 30 In Music Class of 2016. The list was divided in 7 groups, depending on their genre. DJ Snake, Krewella and Jake Udell represented electronic music in this year’s compilation. Forbes editors also include a wide variety of artists including Schoolboy Q, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes, who was included in January’s Cover.
DJ Snake is coming off a great 2015, scoring big releases like “Middle”, “Propaganda”, and of course “Lean On” alongside Major Lazer & Mø, which broke a plethora of records. Krewella, on the other hand, had quite the rough year, as the duo was still dealing with the aftermath of the Rain Man lawsuit.
