This isn’t Sound Remedy’s first time around the block. Over the last four years, all of the content released on the SoundCloud page has blown up. You don’t see that everyday and it’s something that can be said about the quality of the work produced. The latest offering, a remix from Evvy titled “Tidal Wave”, is no exception to the trend he’s set over the last few years.
Sound Remedy takes the song down a peg, utilizing the vocals to create a slower, more emotional roller coaster of a song. The piano bit in the beginning sets the tone immediately before an off beat rhythm takes over to make this rendition more club friendly, yet still one of those tunes you can jam in the house or car on repeat for hours. You can catch Sound Remedy on tour this winter and spring in Minnesota (2/12-2/13) and in Denver (4/16).
