It’s a big month for the Swedes of the dance music world, as Steve Angello just unleashed his impressive Wild Youth album last week and we have another huge one on the way. Now all eyes are on Eric Prydz as Opus approaches, and this week we got a preview on his last Beats One show before the album’s release. He kicks it off with one of the most beautiful tracks coming on Opus, known as “The Matrix” and previously known as “New City Gas ID”. From there Eric takes us on an hour long journey filled with IDs and a truly awesome special mix of his classic “Niton (The Reason)“.
For the 2nd hour, we are treated to another hour from Eric’s amazing show at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC. As he opened the mix with a new cut from Opus, he closed with another new Opus track called “Trubble” aka Space Miami 2015 ID. By the time we hear the next Beats One show Opus will already be released, so be prepared to hear a lot more from our favorite producer over the next 2 weeks.
