13 Unreleased Tracks We Hope To Get Our Hands On In 2016

We’re confident that you’re all tired of taking a look back at 2015, so let’s take a glimpse into the future. We’ve compiled a list of IDs or unreleased tracks we are still waiting for as 2016 kicks off. The last time we decided to list out the hottest ID tracks was following Ultra Music Festival in March 2015. Since then, the majority of those tracks have been released, but many remain at large still.

Eric Prydz – We Are (and many others)

We could do an entire article just on Eric Prydz IDs and speculate on which ones will be released on Opus, so for this article we’re just gong to collect them all and give them the top spot. For this article we will list “We Are”, a beautiful track Eric revealed to us in his most recent Beats 1 show. However, it is not listed on the tracklist we recent discovered on Amazon. Hopefully, the wait will be shorter than a decade for this one.

Hardwell ft. Jake Reese – Run Wild (Released Feb 29)

This track first made an appearance during Robbert’s Tomorrowland 2015 set and has been a mainstay ever since. Obviously, this will be his next single (Update: he released 2 singles in January and this wasn’t one of them) and many fans think it’s one of the producers best tracks in recent memory. Vocalist Jake Reese makes his second appearance in a row here and is put to good use. This one will probably be out by March.

Ten Walls – Walking With Elephants (Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs W&W Remix)

This track used to serve as the intro for the world’s #1 DJ duo, and then unsurprisingly, it dissapeared when Ten Walls career crashed and burned. Will it reappear now that Ten Walls is making amends?

Afrojack & Hardwell – Hollywood (Released in January)

Much like “Run Wild”, this ID track has been making the rounds in the sets of both Dutch heavyweights for almost half a year now. We can only assume it’ll be released soon. Could it be part of Afrojack’s 2nd album?

Update: The track is named “Hollywood” and is set for release in January.

Axwell /\ Ingrosso & Shapov – Where I Belong

Shapov’s star is shining bright as ever at Axtone and his collaboration with the Swedish duo is arguably one of the strongest tracks on the album. It’s safe to say this will be on their upcoming album and will be released in 2016.

Axwell /\ Ingrosso – Barricade

As Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso began their latest chapter, fans noticed that their newer music took a much more uplifting and indie-pop kind of tone. One exception being their debut track “We Come We Rave We Love” and the other being “Barricade”. This track has one of the grooviest sounds that the Swedes have put out since the end of Swedish House Mafia.

3 Are Legend vs. Ummet Ozcan – ID

This track is basically the 3 Are Legend theme track. While the pairing has turned out to be more of a one-off festival gimmick, they did decide to produce a track together with Ummet Ozcan.

Martin Garrix ft. David Guetta? – Blue Flames

This track is surprising for both parties, as it doesn’t fit the sound of either artist at the moment at all. David Guetta has been known to dabble in groovier progressive house back in the day, but Martin Garrix has never really produced anything like this before. Might this be part of David Guetta’s Pelican Project?

What So Not & Skrillex – Goh!

This was probably the most anticipated track from the Gemini EP, except it wasnt on the Gemini EP. This track has been making the rounds since Fall of 2014 with no sign of release anytime soon. Maybe now that Emoh & Flume have released their final music together, Emoh will unleash this solo WSN release.

Hardwell & W&W – We Got This

This ID track has been floating around since 2013, and is still a mainstay in Hardwell’s sets. Did this track’s release outlast its own hype? Probably.

Jack U – Bounce It

Diplo has already told us this track was made purely as a performance device for their first ever set at Ultra 2014, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still hope right?

Hardwell & Martin Garrix – Music Box

This track made its appearance during the Summer of 2014 and was speculated to be on Hardwell’s United We Are. We know now that it never happened, and the track has also fallen out of circulation, so it may have been abandoned. Martin Garrix has also softened his sound from the big room of 2014. Perhaps we will see it again in a different form.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs. W&W – Arcade (Released Feb 29)

This is the big new ID track from the latest Tomorrowland 2015 aftermovie and it’s got all the hallmarks of the biggest names in big room. The track features a riff on Armin van Buuren’s “Ping Pong”, due to his popular festival trick of uniting everybody’s hands as they move from side and side during that track. After the warmed over “Higher Place” , this track is a much more capable mainstage weapon for both duos.
