One of California’s newest, socially conscious festivals, Serenity Gathering, is poised to launch into its exciting third year of celebrating oneness from March 17-20 at Lake Hemet in Idyllwild, California. As a conscious gathering, Serenity is focused on creating an environment of positive collaboration among like minded individuals specifically geared towards art and music. This year’s journey of peace, love, and sound will also serve as a celebration of the Spring Equinox, the time where night and day, dark and light, are at perfect balance, representing the balance we all have inside of us.
Last year’s gathering saw over 200 acts spread across four stages, with music spanning the sonic spectrum; from hip hop and reggae to indie dance and any form of electronic genre you could name, proving that the performance artists are a necessary fixture for Serenity. To keep up with its budding, yet already stellar musical tradition, the festival’s 2016 Phase 1 lineup announcement is packed to the brim with crowd favorites like Emancipator, ill.Gates, Phutureprimitive, Thriftworks, and Bleep Bloop. Serenity Gathering’s Phase 2 lineup announcement will be made January 19th that includes two more massive headliners.
