Dean Mason has returned with a brand new original production ahead of his upcoming date on Groove Cruise Miami. The track, entitled “The Chosen One”, features vocalist Shane and caps off a fine year from Dean Mason. Having already garnered support from DJs like Darude, Tommy Trash, Kid Massive, Marco V., and more, this tune is sure to be heard throughout the Holi-rave season and into the New Year.
“The Chosen One” begins with vocalist Shane leading the way, guiding the pent-up energy through to a big breakdown. Crooning through the middle of the song, Shane’s vocals are overlaid on a soft and melodic electro melody, pushing into an uplifting, almost trance-y sound. All bets are off, though, as Dean Mason slams down the hammer just after the 2 minute mark with a massive tribalistic drop reminiscent of Sandro Silva & Quintino’s iconic song “Epic”. Dean Mason harnesses the energy of the drop and carries it through to the end for a well-rounded, Electro House banger.
Dean Mason has had a really solid couple of years, having played alongside artists like Fedde le Grande, Chuckie, ATB, Paul van Dyk, and more. He’ll once again be gracing the decks at Groove Cruise Miami, which will be sailing to Ocho Rios in Jamaica and back to Miami from January 22 – 26.
