Day Zero, Damian Lazarus’ annual single-day festival offshoot from BPM in Tulum, just announced a stellar lineup for their 2016 edition. The Crosstown Rebels party has become synonymous with the kick-off of the new year, and is one of the most revered gatherings around BPM. Taking place in a brand new location, the lineup for next year’s Day Zero will include Acid Pauli, Bedouin, Blond:ish, Damian Lazarus, DJ Three, Eduardo Castillo, Felix Da Housecat, Fur Coat, Lum, Metrika (live), Serge Devant, and Sidartha Siliceo (live).
Day Zero also announced that they will be collaborating with event crafters Red Moon for the 2016 party. Red Moon is spearheaded by Cirque Du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté, so the event production is guaranteed to be pretty next level. With past artists including Massive Attack, Jamie Jones, and Trentmøller, and a reputation for a stellar community and vibe, Day Zero 2016 is definitely a party we want to be at.
Tulum is also basically the perfect location for shaman lord Damian Lazarus to ply his hypnotic blend of house music:
“There is a magical and irresistible energy about Tulum that has really affected how I live my life. When you combine amazing music and wonderful people in a place like Tulum, it becomes much more than just another party. Day Zero is a chance to connect with loved ones, re-engage spiritually with the stars and planets, engage in some ancient and primal rituals, and generally experience something you simply can’t find anywhere else. I am profoundly happy to announce our return in 2016.”
