Dance music fans know that Above & Beyond has a way of conjuring emotions like nothing else, and when tragedy struck the Anjunabeats family it touched us all. When Jono Grant‘s sister Charlotte passed away, the outpouring of support was enormous from fans around the world. Above & Beyond channeled their sadness over Charlotte and decided to fulfill one of her life’s projects. Thus began the Little Something Foundation, which was named after the track which struck a strong chord with Charlotte, as she believed it epitomized her work in perinatal care.
This fall the trio played an incredibly emotional show to raise money for Charlotte’s foundation, and they have just posted a stirring mini-documentary. As if Above & Beyond don’t get the tears flowing easily enough in general, one can only imagine the emotion in the room as Charlotte’s daughter pushed the button and her entire team was there in her memory.
