By now everybody has heard all about the unfortunate events of this year’s Mad Decent Boat Party. While all of us read about it, the Norwegian Pearl was still filled with party goers looking to enjoy themselves. Even beyond the cancelled stop at Mexico, poor weather at sea cancelled additional sets onboard, including the festival’s closing set by none other than Skrillex and Diplo’s Jack U.
Never ones to disappoint, Skrillex and Diplo played possibly the strangest performance you will ever see. They set up shop in the ship’s PA room and played a set over the announcement system and on the ships TV network. It remains to be seen why the performance could not go on in the ship’s theater, but the assumption would be that the ship was rocking too much or that additional security measures made it impossible. Either way, we have a video of 30 minutes of the weirdest Jack U of all time below.
