NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel – Aftershock
It’s been an incredibly successful year for NGHTMRE and Boombox Cartel. NGHTMRE had an especially good year emerging as a festival favorite, and generating banging remixes like GRiZ’s “Stop Trippin’” and GTA’s “Red Lips“. It’s no wonder the serene opening sequence in “Aftershock” couldn’t stay that way. The tame intro more than doubles in tempo and takes a futuristic bass heavy turn. It’s not an “Aftershock” until the last drop when it bass infused shakes the ground with its fast and distorted vocals.
Before Mad Decent Records released “Aftershock”, NGHTMRE took to reddit to give fans a snippet of the ID, and subsequently asked them to come up with potential names. User DelusionalHooligan took home the honor of naming a major NGHTMRE and Boombox Cartel track.
