Disclosure Perform on Saturday Night Live With Lorde & Sam Smith

Disclosure, flying high off their recent album Caracal, were given the opportunity to perform “Magnets” alongside featured singer, Lorde, and “Omen”, their follow up tune to “Latch” with Sam Smith, on their Saturday Night Live debut. You cannot reach a more diverse audience than that, which showcases the incredible and expansive reach electronic music has made over the last decade. With Elizabeth Banks as the host, the duo couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a Saturday night.

 

The show occurred the night that followed the devastating attacks on Paris, the background for “Magnets” was lit up in “bleu, blanc et rouge”, representing the solidarity of the world standing behind France.

 

The crowd was introduced to “Omen” with a chorus of backup singers chanting “oh” alongside Smith and the Lawrence Brothers.

Since the release of their latest album, they have been featured quite a bit around the world and in the next few months, they will be stopping in multiple cities in the UK, one US date in LA and a few Australian dates to start the new year.
