ANGELZ – Hey Girl
After posting a promo mix on Soundcloud for his new record label Confession, Tchami released “Hey Girl” by ANGELZ as the first of many songs to come. This new track will have you bouncing along to its deep bass and seductive lyrics right off the bat. ANGELZ’s new track, like many of his other songs, possesses a dark vibe that gets you feeling weird and funky. He has put his deep spin on many records such as his track “Useless” featuring A.J. Crew—which uses samples from Gorillaz’ “Clint Eastwood”— as well as an edit of Lupe Fiasco and Jill Scott’s “Daydreamin“. He has previously stated that his two biggest inspirations are producers Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo. In an interview with Insomniac Events, ANGELZ points out that many songs in his sets are most likely unknown by many people in the crowd; he goes on to note that this unknown element is part of the experience.
