YOGI – SIRI Feat. Elliphant & Pusha T
The team is back. London producer YOGI brings back Pusha T, who pushes his nonsensical words even further on ‘SIRI‘. Making slight fun of Apple’s personal assistant, ‘SIRI’ finds the gang acting like they’re invisible. “Y’all bitches can’t see me|My pockets is full of the bullets that missed me” perfectly summarizes the software agent and themselves. Especially when YOGI continues to remain faceless, pointing at his anonymity in his last music video by featuring dancers with masks.
‘SIRI’ first premiered on Zane Lowe‘s Beats 1 show and it’s exactly what we would expect from the OWSLA signee. It’s quintessential trap, which also features Swedish songstress Elliphant, but he lets out the his expected weirdness throughout the track. So much so, the music video will probably freak us out.  YOGI’s last set of beats, ‘tsing tao‘, was released in August, and ‘Burial‘ the year before. He’s slowly closing the gap; maybe this is progress and maybe another EP is in our midst.
