Events such as Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and Miami Music Week are exciting due to the fact that they give DJs the chance to let loose and catch up with one another. One artist who decided to do something a little crazy was Skrillex, as the Los Angeles native gave fans an unexpected treat towards the end of one of his sets during ADE.
According to the audio clip uploaded by SoundCloud user ‘Basspug’, the electronic music superstar decided to end his performance by playing an old, unreleased demo that he found buried in one of the folders on his computer. This is no ordinary demo though, as Skrillex revealed that it is a collaboration with none other than Knife Party. The Recess producer mentions that the track is from 2012 and that he doesn’t even remember “what this shit sounds like”. The two acts previously collaborated on “Zoology“, but we haven’t seen them team up since. Hopefully, Skrillex and Knife Party jump back in the studio so this tune can see the light of day.
