There’s no denying that Justin Bieber has had a remarkable turnaround to his career within the last year. A few years ago, you never would have guessed that Bieber would have not just one, but two hit songs in 2015. Somehow, the Biebs has coming roaring back, first collaborating with Diplo and Skrillex on their massive hit “Where Are U Now” and earlier this summer, he released his tropical house inspired single “What Do You Mean”, which instantly became the subject of countless remixes.
One of the best re-imaginations of “What Do You Mean” comes courtesy of the fifteen-year-old Norwegian up-and-comer, ELIAS. By keeping the original as organic as possible, but still infusing the track with his own sound, ELIAS blends a mix of future house synth and thumping bass lines that gives “What Do You Mean” a heavy-hitting drop.
