Haitian dance music star Michael Brun returns to L.A for a headlining gig at Los Angeles’ Create L.A. It’s a big show for fans of progressive house, as Michael’s production streak in 2015 has been notably impressive. Huge songs like his Kolsch collab, ‘See You Soon‘ ‘Tongue Tied July‘ – a track of the summer candidate – will assuredly leave a lasting impression to those in attendance.
Michael has come a long way in a very short time span. The Haitian native grew up in the Caribbean island’s capital – Port Au Prince. At the age of 16, he won a military scholarship to attend school in the U.S, which he followed up with by attending Davidson College as pre-med. All the while, he was learning to produce music, and eventually, dropped out of Davidson to pursue a music career full time. A move that clearly paid off, as Michael has had a flourishing career in just a scant few years. He’s done official remixes for Calvin Harris, Tiesto, and Alicia Keys, and has performed on the Sahara stage of Coachella and the main stage of Ultra Music Festival. A far cry from the beaches of Haiti, indeed.
If you’re in the L.A area this weekend, be sure to grab some tickets here, as Create will sell out. See you on the dance floor.
