Kaskade – We Don’t Stop
If you’ve had the privilege of seeing Kaskade live at any point since his record breaking perfomance at Coachella, you’ve surely been blessed with plenty of his new music. A native Chicagoan, Kaskade got emotional with his hometown people while performing at Lollapalooza two weeks ago. As the beat kicked in for his brand new song ‘We Don’t Stop‘ from his forthcoming studio album ‘Automatic,’ the man, born Ryan Raddon, took the mic to explain how the song came to be:
“Alright Chicago, I don’t know how many of you know I grew up here. It’s the ultimate home field advantage. I grew up here in Northbrook and used to take the train into the city to hear a whole lot of house music. I started in my mom’s basement and here I am in front of you guys at Lollapalooza. I wrote this song about you, about us, the freaks, the geeks, the people who didn’t fit in. All these years later, we’re right here. We don’t stop Chicago — this one’s for you!” – Kaskade
‘We Don’t Stop’ is an uplifting tune carried by vocals that Kaskade delivered himself for the first time since ‘Atmosphere’ in 2013. The song expresses the mantra that has always been so present in dance music; there is room for everybody to fit in. You can listen to ‘We Don’t Stop’ below, and make sure to pick up your copy of ‘Automatic’ when it is released September 25th, but if pre-order the album on iTunes now you will ‘We Don’t Stop’ immediately, along with the other three already released singles, A Little More, Never Sleep Alone and Disarm You.
