HI-LO – Renegade Mastah (Original Mix)

HI-LO is Oliver Heldens. The Dutch future house star revealed earlier this month that the veiled moniker who released “Crank It Up” on Mad Decent was actually a side project he had begun. A much techier, bass house-centered project than his typical endeavors, HI-LO had seen a huge amount of support right from the get-go, and Heldens decided to announce his own record label, Heldeep Records, with HI-LO’s second single, “Renegade Mastah,” that now sees its release.

In the original preview, we received a taste of how raw and coarse HI-LO’s flip on Wildchild would be. Given the full stream today, we see “Renegade Mastah” in all of its glory. Nothing too surprising in the full stream that wasn’t in the preview, HI-LO’s ripping bass cuts that caught our attention the first time around are now prevalent again.
