On their way back to the hotel following their performance later that night, Dan Willis of Neptune Project, Christina Novelli and a few others passed by a man passed out on the ‘concrete slap’. For a few minutes, the man was unresponsive, with them finally being able to get him into an upright position while they inquired more about the situation. While Christina was feverishly asking the man questions about the events that had led up to this point, he spoke only to ask if she was Christina Novelli. All she did was nod, smile and say yes. A few hours pass and Ms. Novelli arrives back at the hotel with the man she had been attending, insisting that he stay, shower and that he had a place to crash in her room that night. The next morning, she pulled some money out of the ATM to make sure he had safe and secure ride to get to where he needed to be.
This is the type of story that needs to be shared. You don’t come across these kinds of stories that often anymore and when you do, they usually spread like wildfire; hopefully inspiring others to give back and help others in less fortunate situations as themselves. You could say that Christina Novelli was this man’s ‘Concrete Angel‘.
