Markus Persson (AKA Notch) may have made his billions developing the wildly popular Minecraft, but he’s also made quite an impact in the electronic music world with his influential dotparty events. Since 2012, dotparty-in collaboration with Production Club–has been throwing spectacular (and cost-free) invite-only parties around the world. From San Francisco to Paris, these parties’ line-ups boast the biggest names in dance: Skrillex, Avicii, Boys Noize, and A-Trak are just a few of the DJs who have blessed his events with their sounds.
Notch did it again this week, hosting Skrillex, Diplo, and DJ Snake inside a huge dome constructed within Los Angeles’s Memorial Coliseum. The dome itself was perfectly suited for loud sound and wild 3D visuals, and the talent was obviously hot. Lucky guests took to Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook to express their awe and share photos and videos of the scene. We’ve posted some of the best photos and videos below. Enjoy!
