As one of Canada’s largest and most bass emphasized electronic events, Shambhala Music Festival continues to be revered by music enthusiasts worldwide for its filthier take on the summer festival music experience, as its heavy roots help dictate the vibe of each year’s lineup. And 2015’s lineup only adds to the festival’s bass legacy by inviting back some of its annual characters, like Excision, Datsik, Liquid Stranger and Downlink. But the musical epic-ness isn’t only limited to the lineup’s dubstep selection, as this year will also feature performances from some of electronic music’s most stellar acts, like Pretty Lights, Bonobo, AC Slater, Skrillex, GRiZ, Tipper, Jack Beats and Koan Sound.
With a stacked lineup like this, its easy for festivalgoers to already be buzzing from musical anticipation; but now, with less than two months left, the excitement level has been raised even further, as Shambhala Music Festival just released a teaser video for their upcoming 18th annual event. The video invites music lovers to come “home” to Salmo River Ranch, British Columbia, as they are inclosed within its enchanted wilderness vibe amidst a stunning venue full of sunshine, cool rivers, and a world-class schedule of electronic music acts, and cutting-edge stage designs.
