Rising Chicago trio Autograf showed off their musical chops recently by taking Alesso’s megahit ‘Cool’ and spinning it into a cool track of their own. Having remixed tracks by the likes of Marvin Gaye, Pharell and Odesza, Autograf impressively strung together nine Hype Machine number 1’s, signaling their arrival. Comprised of Jake Carpenter, Louis Kha and Mikul Wing, Autograf’s original productions like ‘Dream’ epitomize the word chill with a style reaching tropical house vibes that would even make Kygo proud.
In their latest remix, Autograf initiates the Alesso hit with a basic percussion beat before pouring in toe-tapping guitar chords matched with the mellifluous vocals of Roy English. The song then drops into a high-pitched synth, which transitions into the pool lounging vibes we have all grown to love.
