20 Lucky Fans Scored Kygo’s Collab with Dillon Francis, on USBs

Since Kygo dropped it for the first time at a December show in Norway, we’ve been anticipating his ‘Coming Over’ collaboration with Dillon Francis. For the last several months, the general public has had to settle with listening to one of the several live rips on the internet, unless you are one of 20 lucky fans picked out of those who attended Kygo’s set at Coachella this past weekend. One of the most peculiar (and creative) methods we’ve seen for releasing a track, Kygo tossed 20 USB drives into the crowd at Indio, each containing one copy of the forthcoming release. Kygo basically revealed his surprise on Facebook earlier in the day, but the language he used made what he actually planned to do far from obvious. Many DJs prepare their sets on USB drives, so it seemed he was simply teasing a set filled with new music. However, the end result was fantastic, and even more so for those 20 fans. You can see what he posted on Facebook below, and you can also check out a decent quality rip of ‘Coming Over’.
So excited to make my Coachella debut tonight!! Catch me at the Mojave stage at 11pm. I have a little surprise on these USB’s that I’m gonna throw out
