It’s finally here, Miami Music Week is upon us and every DJ/producer in existence is heading down to Miami for some sun and good times. When DJs come to town, it is not uncommon for Dave Grutman (owner of Liv) to play host and show the artists a good time. He is also known for his sleek yacht, the SS Groot, that he frequently drives around in the waters of Miami. Today, Dave Grutman hosted an entire squadron of DJ star power, including David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, and Tiësto. Towards the end of their cruise, Dave may have gotten caught in a wind gust or applied too much throttle because he accidentally tore up a piece of a dock. Those of us boaters know that these things can happen more easily than you think, especially if a few Miami Vices are involved, but Dave and the rest of the crew appeared to have taken the accident in stride. I’m sure this won’t be the last odd occurrence to go down this week, so stayed tuned for more.
