The Prodigy – Wild Frontier
With just a little more than a month to go before The Prodigy releases their sixth album, its newest track was debuted on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. “Wild Frontier” is the third song to be released from The Day Is My Enemy, following “Nasty” and the album’s title track.
With their newest track release also comes a brand new music video, directed by Mascha Halberstad. While the production serves as another testament to The Prodigy’s angsty, aggressive musical outlook, the music video is a gory take on the classic “hunter becomes the hunted” storyline, executed by stop motion animated puppets. Continuing the fox theme of the album’s artwork, “Wild Frontier”‘s music video is a captivating and creative visual supplement to the song’s successful synth leads, gritty guitar melodies, hooky vocal chant and brutal breakdown.
