Excision – Codename X
Excision is just one day away from releasing his long-awaited new album, Codename X. To prematurely celebrate his bound-to-be epic release, Ex gave fans a sneak peak of the album with the release of its title track, “Codename X”. Although he’s managed to set the bar extremely high for himself over his career, the Canadian Commander of bass managed to exceed fans’ expectations by releasing a track that fuses his old school dubstep roots with his current musical style. “Codename X” is full of powerful ascending and descending moments, it hits incredibly deep on its low notes, and makes listeners go mad with each menacing high pitched screech. In short, this title track is any bass loving headbanger’s dream and it further heightens our already unbearable anticipation for Excision’s new album.
