One of the nation’s premier electronic music festivals, Electric Forest, just delivered a massively decorated lineup for its 5th edition. The festival, held in the small village of Rothbury, Michigan, is known for its diverse lineup that consists of roots, jam-bands and of course, some of the biggest and baddest names in electronic music. This year is no different. As a matter of fact, this year may be one of the festival’s most diverse lineups to date.
To start, Forest favorite, The String Cheese Incident will be making their annual return to the Double JJ Ranch for three performances. It only gets better from there, as the headliners include heavyweights Bassnectar, Skrillex, Kaskade, Flume, and Big Gigantic. What is enticing about this year’s lineup is its showing of techno and house artists. Heavyweight and legend, Carl Cox, will be making his Electric Forest debut this year, along with the likes of Green Velvet, Claude Von Stroke, Pete Tong, and Paul Oakenfold. Indie electronic duo Odesza will also be making their way to the Forest for their first time as well. The list goes on and on, with standout artists from across both the dance music scene as well as the roots and jam-band scene. For the complete lineup, take a look at the poster above or the official lineup announcement video. If you’re still on the fence, check out last year’s recap video as well as our event review to see what makes Forest so special. Make sure to hurry and buy your tickets here if you haven’t already though, as they are sure to sell out with this insane lineup!
We hope you listened to us when we told you to get your tickets ASAP, as Electric Forest is officially SOLD OUT! The 4-day festival has run out of tickets in record time too, with the sell out occurring over 3 months than it has in previous years. Not only does this show just how impressive the list of performers is, but it also reinforces the fact that Electric Forest is one of the best festivals on the planet. To those who scored wristbands, we hope you have a wonderful time in the majestic Sherwood Forest and for those of you who didn’t, there’s always next year!
