UMEK and Mike Vale Hit Their Stride On ‘I’ve Been Waiting’ Remix Package

No need to fret any longer, the wait is over! The long-awaited remix package of Dear David‘s ‘I’ve Been Waiting‘ has just dropped on Beatport, and it is teeming with some good ol’ house vibes. With the likes of UMEK/Mike Vale and Los Suruba putting their respective unique spins on Dear David’s impressive debut release, deep house fans everywhere are drunk on the soulful fusion of deep and tech house vibes.

First up to plate is UMEK and Mike Vale; the duo takes a classic house approach with the initial phase of the track, before stripping it down to the vocals and infusing a tasteful balance of gentle kick drums and wispy synths. Next, the Spaniard duo Los Suruba injected a few tech house grooves  and warpy vocal samples into the track, transforming it into a full fledged late-night anthem, fit for a 3AM dance floor.
