Ferry Corsten – Back To Paradise
Trance legend Ferry Corsten just debuted his new single, “Back To Paradise“. The release was Corsten’s first since “Pogo,” the infectious dance floor anthem from back in October. Corsten made waves in 2014 for his ‘New World Punx‘ side project with Markus Schulz. The two toured extensively in 2014, and were recently announced to perform at Coachella in April. While Corsten’s fans relished his work in New World Punx, it is nice to see him return to his roots with this new release. There is more to come from Corsten, as the single is the first track on a 6 track EP. The EP, titled Hello World EP Part 1, will be released in a few weeks on Flashover Recordings.
Corsten begins “Back To Paradise” with a hard hitting intro that abruptly transforms into a soothing melody accompanied by Haris‘ vocals. The singer’s crooning climaxes right as Corsten introduces electro stabs and blaring synths to maintain the track’s high energy. The tune is reminiscent of some of Corsten’s best work, and we can only hope it is an indication of the quality of his forthcoming EP.
