Suffering from the winter blues? French duo Ofenbach alongside Frenchman FDVM have released a track sure to resurrect those lost summer vibes.
Crosswalk Records released a preview of “Kumbaye” to Facebook last week teasing listeners with a preview of what is in store on the soon to be released compilation Crosswalk Vol. 1. which also features artists such as Nicholas Haelg and Lost Frequencies. Producers Ofenbach have had rising success as they were recently ranked twenty-third on Want Electronic’s 25 Essential Upcoming French Producers. ‘Kumbaye’ is another reason to keep tabs on the duo. The original mix exudes melodic sounds and brings about the feeling of nostalgia. With undertones of Caribbean percussion and beach-like vocals, the track is sultry, tropical and deep. The smooth and groovy tune builds on chilling tones similar to those in FDVM’s remix of 1965’s ‘Zella Day’.
