The nominations for the 2014 GRAMMY nominations for best electronic albums were released earlier this week. The nominations for best dance/electronic album included Aphex Twin-Syro, deadmau5-While (1<2), Little Dragon-Nabuma Rubberband, Royskopp & Robyn-Do It Again, and Mat Zo-Damage Control.
While the GRAMMY organization would probably care to wait for the ceremony for announcing the award winners, deadmau5, in humble fashion, is betting against himself on winning the golden gramophone. In fact, he’s giving the thumb to his “intro into electronic music,” Aphex Twin for his album, Syro, as well as giving the nod to fellow contestant, Little Dragon.
while the grammys are neat and whatever, my money is on Aphex Twin – Syro.
