Deadmau5’s upcoming double-album release, 5 Years of Mau5, will be out on November 24th, and in anticipation for this fast approaching celebratory album, the final track listing has been released to Facebook. This retrospective double album will be released by Ultra Music and is a collection of new and old tracks from Deadmau5’s extensive back-catalogue. Selected tracks for the album are remixed by some of dance music’s biggest names, like Dillon Francis, Nero and Madeon. While Dillon Francis’s remix of “Some Chords” has already hit the internet with rousing responses, Madeon’s classic “Raise Your Weapon” remix, Deadmau5 vs Prydz’s rendition of “The Veldt,” and Nero’s remake of “Ghosts n Stuff” will all be found on the album. It will be interesting to see how the super star electronic artists of today reimagine the classic and inspirational sounds of Deadmau5. And although not every track on the album is a brand new mau5 release, fans of his music will be more than happy to receive this thoughtful compilation package of the best moments in Deadmau5’s long and successful production career.
