Ummet Ozcan experienced the largest jump in position on the much-maligned DJ Magazine Top 100 ranking rising 68 spots to finish at #31. Regardless of what you think of DJ Mag’s list, that is quite an achievement, and it is probably because his fans that see him perform love his most recent release Superwave.
In typical Ummet Ozcan fashion, ‘Superwave‘ is an intense dance floor jam. The buildups of Ozcan’s tunes tend to be slow and melodic, speeding up gradually into a pounding drop. ‘Superwave‘ is no different, with a slow synthy cord that invades your ears. A built in hype-man screams, “Rock the place when the bass gets moving,” and the shattering drop gets your body going making you want to do nothing but to jump. Following the first drop he slows it down and rebuilds again in epic proportions. This one will have you grooving from start to finish, and that’s just what we have come to expect from Ummet Ozcan.
‘Superwave’ is out now on Spinnin’ Records, check it out below!
