As expected, the DJ Mag Top 100 list for 2014 created quite a stir among both fans and DJs themselves. Hardwell reclaimed the throne as the number one DJ in the world on the DJ Mag list and several worldwide sensations in electronic music, such as Bassnectar and Flume, didn’t even crack the list. However, fans can now view the list of DJs who just missed the top 100 and can be considered the runner-ups in this infamous competition. Interestingly enough, Swedish House Mafia are ranked at #103, even though they played their final show on March 24th, 2013. Also, Grammy-nominated artists Paul Oakenfold, Disclosure and Tommy Trash all found themselves on the outside looking in, proving yet again that the DJ Mag Top 100 is anything but definitive. You can check out the full list below and let us know who you think should have made the cut.
