Calvin Harris Reveals Superstar Collaborations for Forthcoming Album ‘Motion’

Just when you think Scotsman Calvin Harris is at the top of his game, he takes his success one step further by announcing on his Facebook fan page the major artists he is collaborating with on his fourth studio album Motion. Already known to be on the track list are the above mentioned ‘Summer’ and ‘Blame,’ as well as last year’s smash ‘Under Control’ with Alesso and Theo Hurts. Now, Harris has announced all of the collaborations that will fill out the rest of the album, and as expected, they are bigger than ever. In a string of individual tweets, Harris built the excitement announcing some of the highest profile artists in the industry today, as well as some massive surprises.

He is going Dutch heavy on the production side with songs featuring Ummet Ozcan, R3hab, as well as up and coming duo Firebeatz. The first vocal collaboration he announced comes as no surprise to be with Ellie Goulding. The two are well known to be very close friends, as well as having collaborated in the past on Need Your Love. In addition to Goulding on vocals, he has teamed up with Tinashe, bands Haim and All About She, as well as Adam and Theo Hurts. The big surprises come with superstar singer Gwen Stefani and rapper Big Sean. It has been a long time since Stefani has teamed up with an artist as high profile as Harris, and Big Sean indicates a hip-hop element that Harris has not experimented with before. Calvin himself will also provide the vocals on a few of his tracks on Motion.
