Only a couple of years ago, producing a progressive house track was an exciting task since the genre was quite fresh and alive, at least in the states. With industry giants Calvin Harris and Avicii flexing their musical muscles, progressive house music was incredibly popular. However, with the daunting saturation of the genre today, it has become rather difficult for producers to take on the genre and still give it that fresh sensation. 2014 has been sprinkled with some truly anthemic originals such as ‘Gold Skies‘ and ‘Colors‘. Driven by a strong female vocal and supported by some monstrous uplifting chords, ‘Wait’ by Tom Swoon and Paris & Simo may join this elite ranking. The Spinnin’ release comes out on September 26th and will surely fly up the Beatport charts once available.
