My Digital Enemy‘s Shamen has been resurrected from its Beatport chart-topping run back in January via a remix from Tim Cullen. Premiered on Danny Howard last week, Tim Cullen’s take on “Shamen” keeps much of the tech house beat intact, while adding a seriously infectious bass line groove amongst the vocal cuts.
Tim Cullen is a man who needs no introduction within the world of DJing, as he is the resident DJ of the legendary Ministry of Sound -a heralded position, indeed. Mr. Cullen is no slouch in the production department, either, as his remixes are perfectly tailored to maximize dance floor heat. This is exactly what we have with his take on “Shamen,” a track that is teaming with peak-time prowess. Shamen (Tim Cullen Remix) will be out on My Digital Enemy’s very own Zulu Records on the 8th of September. Be sure to check out the UK house veteran’s podcast series as well, which you can find here. The duo will also be releasing an exclusive mix for our boys over at InDeep momentarily, so be sure to check back here to hear what will undoubtedly be an hour of very high quality underground house.
